CodeAI offers flexible billing plans to suit your needs, powered by a hybrid credit system that combines daily free allowances with flexible subscription top-ups.

Credit System Overview

1 Credit = 1 Agent Action (e.g., generating code, planning a task, editing a file).

Per‑Action Costs

Action costs vary based on complexity and resource usage:

Standard Actions (1.0 Credit)

  • Code Generation (Standard)
  • Unit Test Writing
  • Refactoring (Standard)
  • Security Analysis
  • DevOps Configuration

Lightweight Actions (< 1.0 Credit)

  • 0.50 Credits: Simple UI Tweaks (e.g., button styles, colors, text fixes).
  • 0.90 Credits: Code Cleanup & Deletions (e.g., removing components).
  • Note: Currently rounded up to 1 credit minimum per step.

Complex & Critical Actions (> 1.0 Credit)

  • 1.20 Credits: Authentication & Security Implementation (Login, OAuth, Register).
  • 1.20 Credits: Integration Testing.
  • 1.50 Credits: Database Schema Changes & Migrations.
  • 1.50 Credits: End-to-End (E2E) Testing.
  • 1.50 Credits: Large-scale Refactoring.

Heavy Workflows (2.0+ Credits)

  • 2.00 Credits: Full Landing Page Creation.
  • 2.00 Credits: Comprehensive Dashboard Building.
  • 2.00 Credits: Full Security Audit.

How Credits Work

  1. Daily Credits (Free):
    • Reset every 24 hours.
    • Use-it-or-lose-it: Unused daily credits do not roll over to the next day.
    • Priority: Always consumed first before any paid credits.
  2. Subscription Credits (Paid):
    • Received when purchasing (or renewing) a plan or top-up.
    • Validity: Valid for 30 days from purchase/renewal.
    • Backup: Used only when your daily credits are exhausted.

Usage Priority Example

If you have 5 Daily Credits and 100 Subscription Credits:

  • You make 3 requests -> 3 Daily Credits used. (Remaining: 2 Daily, 100 Subscription).
  • You make 3 more requests -> 2 Daily Credits used, then 1 Subscription Credit used. (Remaining: 0 Daily, 99 Subscription).
  • Next day -> Daily Credits reset to 5. Subscription Credits remain at 99.
